MCD announces Lone Finalist for Superintendent Role

The Roy Maas Youth Alternatives, Inc. (RMYA) Board of Directors approved the recommendation from the Meadowland Charter District Board to name Mr. James A. Chavis as the lone finalist for the position of superintendent of the Meadowland Charter District.  State law mandates the charter school name a lone finalist for the superintendent position at least 21 days before the hiring can become finalized. The RMYA Inc. Board will take further action at their August 26, 2024 meeting.
